EMDR Therapist & Veterinary Social Worker | CO, OR
(Coming soon to WA)
Therapy for grief-carriers, veterinary souls, healers who need healing, students under pressure, women finding their voice, and anyone navigating life’s curveballs.
If your burden feels heavy,
you've come to the right place.
Let’s lean into the deep stuff - the pressure of becoming, the grief of what’s been lost,
and the hope of what is still possible.
Whether you're carrying the weight of loss, navigating burnout, questioning what's next, or feeling disconnected from the life you've worked so hard to build, my goal is to help you find clarity, connection, and a way forward that feels authentic to you. No judgment, no quick fixes.
Just honest support for whatever comes next.

MODERN THERAPY, ROOTED IN CONNECTION
Therapy should feel collaborative.
A space where compassion, honesty, and sometimes a dash of humor guide the work - because real change is messy, human, and rarely follows a straight line.
I work with thoughtful, high-functioning adults who have spent years building careers, relationships, and lives they're proud of, yet still find themselves feeling disconnected, burned out, or wondering why things feel harder than they expected.
I know you care deeply. You hold yourself to impossibly high standards. You're used to solving problems on your own and, from the outside, it probably looks like you're doing just fine.
Maybe you're just beginning to realize how much you've been carrying. Maybe you're wondering what it would feel like to set some of that weight down, reconnect with yourself, and find a way forward that feels a little lighter.
Hi, I’m Nikki!
(Therapist, veterinary social worker, and fellow human who knows life rarely goes according to plan.)
Vulnerability is the key to connection, and I believe therapy works best when the therapeutic relationship feels - and is - genuine.
I've spent a lot of my own life navigating unexpected turns. Whew! Those experiences shape how I show up in the therapy room and connect with my clients. I believe you carry your own wisdom, and I'm absolutely not here to judge. I'm here to guide you, maybe even challenge you, and stay right beside you as we figure out a path forward.
When I'm not working, you'll usually find me with my dogs, spending time with my adult kids (if they allow it), planning an adventure, wandering around somewhere outside, or questioning my own decisions halfway up a mountain..

Individual
Therapy
When life feels different
than you imagined.
Whether you're navigating loss, burnout, or a season of life that no longer feels like it fits, therapy offers a place to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and make sense of what's changed, so you can move forward with clarity and intention.
Therapists, Veterinary Professionals,
& Students
When the work you love
asks too much of you.
Specialized therapy for the grief, burnout, moral injury, cumulative stress, and unique emotional realities of veterinary medicine.
EMDR
When talking about it
isn't enough.
Some experiences stay with us long after they've ended. EMDR helps the brain process difficult experiences so they no longer have the same hold on your present life.

My Approach
Therapy is collaborative.
I bring guidance, tools, and perspective; you bring your experiences, goals, and the expertise of living your own life. Together, we'll get curious about what's weighing on you and what
might help.
[02]
Practical, honest, and human.
We'll work at your pace, using reflection, curiosity, and evidence-based approaches to help you feel more grounded, connected, and clear.
What to Expect
[03]
A place to try something different.
Therapy is a place to untangle what feels heavy, notice patterns, and discover new ways of responding to life's challenges. We may reflect, build practical skills, slow down a bit to understand what's really going on, or explore EMDR. Together, we'll find an approach that
fits your needs.
